This brewery has been in production for awhile in one of their restaurant locations in Rehoboth, Delaware. I have been attracted to their beers for awhile because their theme and craft beer selection has been marketed very well without having a full production. They are owned and operated under Fins Family restaurants which have amazing seafood if you are ever in the Rehoboth, Bethany or even Berlin, Maryland location. They finally opened up their new brewery in Lewes, Delaware and I know the brewers are happy to have a much bigger space to work. They have 16 beers on tap with a full bar and full kitchen. The bar is small but if you can get a spot its worth it to look through the glass at the very large fermenters. They also shuck oysters right there at the bar for those really into oysters, Lewes Delaware is the place for that experience.
We each got flights as usual. JR’s consisted of all IPA’s and mine was a mixture of sours and farmhouse ales. JR had a New England IPA in his flight and I actually liked it! The whole New England fad has really gotten out of hand in my opinion and I haven’t found one I liked until this one which was called “Everything’s Vine” and was brewed with Sauvignon Blanc grape juice! The head brewer is a friend of mine and he makes some of the most creative beers using other ingredients other than just plain hops and fruit. This brewery is a definite stop!
